​I reside in Pennsylvania in the US of A.
Growing up, I was surrounded by art. Both of my parents are artists and my family is diversely creative as well as supportive.
Nothing devastating there.
Naturally, I was destined and thrilled to attend and graduate some art college in Philadelphia.
BUT, I worked as a baker/pastry/prep/sandwich artist for nearly FIVE years following high school.
IT WAS THEN that I decided enough was enough, and I should follow my dreams by way of crippling debt, exhausting mornings, and thesis projects.
AS GREAT AS THAT SOUNDED, and after creating a portfolio, applying, visiting, and being accepted to a few schools, I decided that I would rather be an artist on my own terms. NOW.
Since I would be thrown into the world of critics, rejection, and silence anyway, why not do it without massive student loan debt?
SO HERE I AM.
Still baking professionally.
